Everyday I sit in front of the computer for more than 8 hours. After a whole day's work, I feel exhausted and have a headache. I don't need to do any hard work  and manual labour. But I still feel tired and nervous. At the moment I leave the office, my body and soul relax totally. Then I find the sky is so blue, the clouds are so white, even the air is so sweet. That is the most joyful time of a day~~& Q" H. h( k  i$ w
As a foreign sales lady, I can easily smell the pressure from my boss and managers. They treat me well and hope me to do well in my job.In another hand, my colleagues put a great pressure on me.Both of them are outstanding and have much experience.( x0 E0 u2 s% q8 g* K; T, W
Every night, I go to bed very late. I play the computer games to relax myself. In this way, I can forget anything and dip myself into the games.8 N4 O1 r: l0 z9 K- `+ t% P1 U! H

I also have pressure, from manager and colleague. Maybe  my pressure is less than yours, so I have never played games in the night to relax myself, I just sleep! hehe..I am so tired. I need to sleep.

The pressure does not depend on the position and task. + O* J3 d7 p# Y3 t- x8 ^
I have been involved in the jobs of export for four years (the first two years for logistics and the 3rd&4th year for merchandiser)
8 h9 b' n4 u; j* I4 r0 w% u  qUsually the income of these jobs has nothing to do with the orders and no people will  force you to get more and more orders .
  F& L4 R. m/ s" z) \( A6 E' [5 ?! t. H
The most pressure is from the mistakes of everyday work.
9 H, Q9 ^+ F  KAs the merchandiser, you must make sure the order can be perfectly executed so sometimes you ought to  face the potential both the loss and profit.  " Y# k: @6 {! o6 K6 d9 g
When the profit is got, no one will appreciate you while everybody will notice you if you make an error causing the loss.
0 v8 g  `+ c, ?% G3 s4 T0 c& G& S! W" Z$ P! a5 S) h
Here is a case for supporting this idea.+ k2 N* P, U' C. Z& J
In year 2007, there is an order for partial shipment in 10 months . But the customer found that the distribution plan is wrong as per the acutal market so they ask us to ship 50% of lot size for the last three month .This caused the extra stocks in our warehouse.
# J* y8 a+ |/ w% ^) I/ X* O. G0 y; A$ |As the Taiwan man in charge of this case left the company in the end of 2007 while the new merchandiser of customer's HK office didn't know what exactly happened.
. w, `/ M) \- }$ GAnyway,  they've found this problem via investigation which we insistant them to do.

$ _/ {: a8 k& b. @4 iBy the negoation like marathon, we persuage them to pay the balance and compensation  of this order .
' t5 O3 p6 F- z' H3 s- CIt's very lucky that the customer also give uo the cargo .

' h9 ?$ |  M) X: V: Z5 _& k' AIt means that they don't need the cargo but arrange the 100% payment.
6 w0 ~2 S  H4 J- e4 a% U" i( K4 OAlso this is an OEM order ,  we can easily update the logo of the units and sell them in domestic market .
' ~$ v8 n- t/ R/ n6 mSo this has  bring dozens of thousands profit for our company.

0 l+ x9 b5 |3 N6 n$ r' A# DThere is also a potential profit in the difference of EXW and FOB because there is no need to afford the domestic charges from our warehouse to the farwarder's house while this freight and fee has been included in FOB price.

But the company and the head office does not consider this as an extra work of us and no any reword & encouragement is received.

1 \6 G9 ]" R. z1 x# f% y! xYesterday is a dark day for me as I found I state a bigger unit qty of an order to middle east while the workshop prepared cartons as per the wrong qty of total order so there is 800 cartons with specified printing  cannot be used.  Our dept. manager felt very dispointed because the loss of the cartons is a small loss (about several thousands in RMB) but it is an obvious error that the other dept. can report and seize on it to exaggerate matters .

When you bring the company dozens of thousands profit ,no one know you but you'll be a focus when you bring a more smaller loss.

压力并不取决你做的职位和工作(也就是说未必接单的就有压力 而 不要接单不拿提成的人就没压力)& R: K7 {2 A) u
我已经在出口行业做了四年了。前两年是物流,后两年是跟单: t2 M! N6 }, I+ o$ w
一般来说,这类工作的收入和订单是没有关系的,也没有人强迫你不断的接单。

最大的压力就是来自于工作上的错误。作为跟单的必须很完美的执行订单,所以你会经常碰到必须面对潜在的损失和收益的情况。

$ b: f$ s: Y5 a9 u7 b' Q这里有一个案例。 在07年我们有一个客户下了一个分批10个月出货的订单。但后来他们发现分销计划做错了。所以最后四批都是按该批量的一般出货。负责这个事情的台湾公司的人在年底离职,接手的香港公司的人并不清楚这个事情。在我们的坚持要求下,通过调查,他们确认了这个事情。: X9 R& t3 i) d) H1 \) _1 E6 h

( D6 ]$ {! a$ ?# U经过马拉松式的谈判,我们说服了他们把余款结清并赔偿损失。而且幸运的是他们还放弃了货物(另PS:而且是按新价格给我们付的款,等于利息损失也算上去了)# I9 |+ C; |4 V

1 S9 Y( c" L1 x* \* `- T! |3 _同样,因为EXW和FOB方式的差异,我们还得到了国内运费这一块的额外收益(本来从工厂到货代仓库有一部分文件费,运输费,操作费,是包含在FOB价格的,如今不需要发运,等于以EXW的方式做了FOB价格)

1 e- P4 c* F. [! N) S/ H8 M但公司上头并不认为这是一个额外的工作,也没有任何的物质奖励和口头表扬0 m( @* @5 ]* C' z/ G3 @* @

$ V+ {: q/ P/ I9 E而昨天,对我来说是黑暗的一天。我发现我在一个中东订单上写错了数量,生产部门按这个数量准备了外包装纸箱,这样就多了800个纸箱——这些纸箱是按客户要求定制印刷的。。我们部门经理对这个事情非常失望,因为这些损失是很小的,几千RMB算个什么。但却授人以口实,因为损失太明显,其他部门的人可以借题发挥。1 C. ]3 d$ c! e% v

但你给公司带来几万的收益时,没人知道你,但你造成小得多的损失时,你就是焦点

而作为一个真正的销售来说,完全可以让这些人闭嘴。;因为订单是你接的,爱损失就损失。反正也是按自己的提成计算的。{老板也不会JJWW的说很多话,因为毕竟提成上受影响了等于是罚了款}& o/ W5 E+ }% _/ j- t& r; z7 D

i have a very serious and typical shortcoming.
3 p( s) H) U8 ]when i face a difficulty, whatever it is, my first reaction is to escape and hide myself, not to resolve it in some acceptable ways.
- O7 S, |) H8 z& A- F- ki am very disappointed and upset with myself.$ n6 B* `" D' ?6 i
but i couldn't help it!, Y4 i, A9 P" w# V. [! V' E2 T& j
now i always push myself to overcome the difficulties.6 J3 u; u. @# w( J4 f2 L
and i find that some difficulties are not as hard as they look:)# _% U$ U2 t. W/ ]+ ?% H7 K% v+ j
but anyway i still feel helpless and horrible.- p8 S1 L& e$ [& }" p

% f0 c+ C, S% vThere are always deadline in export logitics and you must solve them before the case become worse.

Regarding to the case of extra 800 cartons , I feel shoked and disappointed when I found the mistake but I only sit for half a minute then I printed the order amendment and told the manager to sign (verification) it immediately and rushed to the workshop. And the manager help me to call all the people involved in this case (the planner of cartons , printing , produciton schedule .. etc.)  3 u' Z9 V* u1 h! X
I entered the office of workshop and told them that it's my fault but do please stop all the works and to make amendment at once.
; e0 f% h( m) Y9 hAfter these works, my mangers talked with me for the reasons of mistake and make a better procedure for ruture orders . And she ask me to have mental preparation for the GM's investigation.

当我们老板非要找我谈话,讲那些错误或者损失时。我,包括我们老大经常说的是“请让我们先去解决问题,因为你现在说的话根本对及时解决问题没啥帮助”。 [ BOSS巨没面子,不过后来他也认识到外贸出口和其他问题的不同了-----------当然这个是前一家公司的事情 ]

4 I; G( U5 m) b就拿这次出错的800箱来说,虽然我发现错误时很震惊也很失望,不过不过就坐了半分钟就立即打了更改的单又我们老大签了立即跑下去了,要求他们停下手头所有工作帮我把单子全部改过来。整个都解决掉后,老大才找我谈了这个错误的原因,为未来工作指定了更合理的流程。并且要求我做好总经理谈话的心理准备 . Y+ j& u5 N8 O% f7 v8 D
(不过十有八九不会谈,因为其他部门的人造成的损失更大,他们可不想做“杀敌一千,自损八百”的买卖,所以会很默契的不去打小报告)
